Magic Yellow Bus – Camperdown Memorial Rest Park, Newtown
The Magic Yellow Bus visits various parks in the old Marrickville Council area. It operates from 09.30am-12.30pm on the following timetable.
Monday: Petersham Park, Petersham
Tuesday: McNeilly Park, Marrickville and Tillman Park , Tempe
Wednesday: Camperdown Memorial Rest Park, Newtown and Steel Park, Marrickville
Thursday: Enmore Park, Marrickville
Friday: Johnson Park, Dulwich Hill
Activities offered by the service include:
- art and craft,
- painting,
- play dough,
- sporting activities,
- reading (Storytime starts at 11.45 am at Tillman Park, Steel Park & Enmore Park only)
- an infant play mat.
The Magic Yellow Bus does not operate in wet weather, strong winds or extreme heat (temperatures in excess of 35 degrees Celsius). The service does not operate on public holidays. Check their twitter page for advisories.
